Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love Turbotax BUT fix the efile page size error Been using turbotax for many years. Easy to use, walks through every step including the required forms, more reliable than using a paid expert (in the past the hired experts I chose either waited until the last minute to file OR asked me how to include my stock sale profits.) This year though I encountered an infuriating known error on the efile page where the page size would not work with my laptop. Found the resolution on googling the known error - this is the first time I've found this type of issue but inquiries online went back to 2019. Except for coming up short at the last step, love turbotax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TURBO TAX NOT QUITE PERFECT Scanning 1099s is quick, but it often did not get the information correct. It is almost easier to manually enter the data. It also assumes that everyone is familiar with all of the tax forms and jargon. Even the help screens were sometimes not enough. We are not tax accountants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Refund Fee is too high I love the efficiency and ease of filing through Turbo Tax, but the unannounced fee of $39 for processing the return is way too high. The site never said that it would charge that amount until after I filed my returns.
