Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy with high cost of service I've used TT for many years. Last year it cost me $100 to file state and federal. Same exact filing this year cost me $178. Same employer, same everything, and I'm just taking the standard deduction. This is nearly double the cost for same exact service as last year. Will NOT be doing this again next year. Turbo Tax you've gotten too greedy; shame on you. Your competitor will likely get my business next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a Joke I have used Turbo Tax (TT) for 15+ years and never had a problem until this year. I have spent 2 days, hours each day trying to resolve an issue related to Form 8915F. No matter what I do and even after startng the whole return over TT continues to populate this form. The work around to resolve on the blog encourages to select fradulent choices by selecting yes to get around the form. TT message says fix to happen is March 24, 2023. Well that never happened. Need proof, google TT form 8915 F and see how many websites pop up related to this issue. Spending $ 50.00 on your product that does not work correct is not acceptable.Im not usually one to write a review but this has to be addressed and a refund should be issued. TT answer to this issue is to file an extension. Are you (Turbo Tax) going to pay for the fee of extending? That is what you are setting the consumer up for. Days and Hours spent on this. What a joke this has turned into. Feel free to contact me TT and explain why I need to extend, please!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is way too confusing and expensive I have never had any issue doing my taxes with turbotax before. In fact, I enjoyed it. This year was awful. It was so needlessly complicated and I couldn't get any help. I had to seek out the answers to my questions elsewhere online. And I was forced to pay $169 to file. Why is it mandatory to file, practically necessary to use a service like turbotax because of how needlessly complicated it is, and then you have to pay $200 on top of that? Next year I will be seeking out a tax professional and not use turbotax.
