Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is sufficient Turbo Tax successfully leads me through my taxes. It could provide a less streamlined approach alternatively. Sometimes, the questions guide too much and it would be nice to be able to see the actual tax form. Overall, it is an impressive service.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Difficulty filing 2021 taxes and now2022 It seemed much easier this year although downloading information from some institutions was impossible and I had to enter several of the stock & crypto sales one by one. There is also a matter concerning my 2021 taxes which I had to mail to the IRS Texas office (as I recall). My wife and I filed jointly in 2021 as we have in 2022 and prior years, but in the rejection by the IRS (for 2022) and Maryland they did not recognize our filing jointly and asked for her AGI. If this 2nd attempt to e-file fails, how do I get an exemption

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Live support option is not worth the hype, money I tried using live support when I had a question about an uncommon situation, but the agent (with 6 years under her belt) was not able to give one shred of advice. She then said she'd go research and get back while I stayed online. After waiting a few minutes, I did the research on my own, gave her the relevant links and went about my way to completing the returns. Had I known this in advance, I would have saved the additional $$$ I paid for nothing. I think this might be my last year with Turbotax.
