Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive but nothing else is out there to use Turbo Tax is expensive to use, but unfortunately they have a monopoly on the online tax filing game. Handwritten returns are inexpensive, but not as thorough. This is still cheaper than a tax preparer but not by much.
