Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Expensive Ran out of time this year so I had to go with turbotax since they have all my info. I got an $80 refund and they charged me $180 to file a federal and state return. I will never be using this company again.

Eventually figured it out but it took a bit longer than the other parts. Some of the questions were a bit different from what I've experienced in the past.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Used to be simpler I have used Turbo Tax for probably 10 years and this year is the first that I got frustrated. I think they made the questions more complicated, asked for information I thought they should have from my previous return, and the live-person could not really figure out the answer to my question (where a certain line on last year's Schedule A was. We both guessed and I hope we were correct.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Frusterated I am extremely upset with Turbo Tax and their constant attempts to up-sell me. Throughout the entire process of doing my taxes they kept offering to upgrade me to a higher level which would charge me or giving me the option to stay on the level I was at. I had to continuously select that I didn't want to spend money on this. In the final step it told me I needed to pay $119 to get my taxes filed! I had no idea that it was going to charge me because I declined all of their offers and at that point it was too late to use a different program.
