Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax: Overpriced and Little Use The software is straightforward for people who need very basic filing hlep. For me, this was more of a pain than a benefit. I should have paid someone to do it for me. For $350 dollars for basic software and filing to 3 states, I would have been better served by a human connection. That said, I had a great session with the K-1 expert, Larry. He was amazing. Everything else though, made me go back continually and fix things that I didn't understand why I had to fix, and the software did not explain it sufficiently. I am not confident Turbo Tax helped me with my taxes. We will see if the IRS comes back to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Form 1116 Line 12 I really think line 12 should be entered by turbo tax entirely base on how much foreign income I have exclude in 2555, and income I have entered. Not asking me to enter how much I exclude and how much I earn again. I was so confused, I had to go through instructions for 1116. Which is painful to go through.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is user friendly Turbo Tax is user friendly. It includes multiple sources of help: hints, chats, community, and customer support. Convenience of completing at home versus the inconvenience of scheduling appointment, ensuring you have all your documents and time. Multiple filing options, multiple payment options, multiple refund options. The cost is less than paying a tax consultant. I recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is not good I have used turbo tax for a number of years and this will be the last year I use this software. The price increases every year and the forms I needed were not ready and I had to file an extension.
