Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax flub cost 1.5 hours of my time, no change I was notified of non-acceptance of my return, and TurboTax said no worries, they'd fix it. After an hour and one half of deleting and reinputting forms, there was no change in tax owed. Not a fun experience, and I'll see if IRS accepts this refiling....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Well done software, exploitative payment structure After paying at costco for the software, I was initially happy to file my returns easily. But the $45 for a second state wasn't worth it (I worked in 2 states) After selecting to file the 2nd state tax return independently, Then when i was done it wanted me to pay $25 each for the single (supposedly free) state and an additional 25 for the (supposedly free) federal return. Then a $40 charge for using direct deposit instead of a credit card seems outlandish. It feels like the added charges at the end are clearly to exploit customers who are just tired from filing their taxes already. I won't be paying turbo tax any money next year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from FEE AFTER FEE AFTER FEE I barely received a federal refund and Turbo Tax took almost a 3rd of it in fee's. I've been using it for years and I think this year will be my last. Poor get poorer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy I had a moment where I was stuck and they online chatted me out of that problem, I have recommended Turbo Tax to my co-workers. I tell them that if they can answer 1 question at a time they can do there own taxes. If I put it to them as a question (Can you answer 1 question at a time?) if they say anything other than "yes" then I tell them to go see an accountant.
