Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some TurboTax issues make no sense. I cannot understand why I need to constantly update TurboTax. I finished my taxes but waiting to review and file. Sure enough I had to do another update. So does that mean my taxes would have been incorrect if I filed the previous week? Next I got all the way through to filing but there was one more "issue" before I could file.f Why was that not brought up way earlier? I had to again dig through records trying to understand the fix this final nonsense issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TT could show acct numbers w 1099-INT & 1099-DIV Generally, good. I have several accounts at Schwab. But when TT gets the tax info from the financial institution, it doesn't show the acct numbers. The TT list contains a dozen identical lines for 1099-DIV, and a half dozen for 1099-INT. The TT list shows only one distinguishing feature, in small font, the amount appearing in Box 1 of the 1099-XXX form. That is, TT distinguishes the accounts by showing, in small font, the amount of interest or dividends paid, which I can only know by wading deep into the tax forms Schwab provided to me. How it should be: Display the account number in the TT list. Regarding the IRS requirement that I send a 1099-MISC or 1099-NEC to certain persons or companies, TT offers to help me file these 1099's, but when I click the offer link, TT doesn't help. Better if TT would file these for me, the first 10 for free with the tax return.
