Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tax Expert Failure When doing last year's (2021) taxes, I reached out to the Tax expert that I had paid the upgraded service for to review my 1099 form and she told me it was correct, resulting in me overpaying my taxes by over $45,000 This is unacceptable, and I don't know why I opted for the higher cost product when the whole point was to verify that I filled out a form correctly. The one and only form I asked them to verify.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from tries to sell you something at every turn Tricks you into doing different things that are not included in the standard version, such as filing state taxes, and then says it will delete this info unless you upgrade. Still better than doing your own taxes I guess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Software is good, server connection not When I attempted to pay for the state tax filing for the relative for whom I handle tax filings, I was unable to access the server to make payment. I was asked to change my password and the system did not accept the change. I contacted the live tech support and it still took 20 minutes to reset the password so I could pay with my credit card. As a filer for multiple individuals, it's a tedious process.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This new turbo tax is very confusing If it hadn't been for Ebony (live help), I would have thrown my computer out the window and gone to the local tax person. I have used turbo tax for approximately 15+ years and have never had a problem filing. This year totally different. Not a fan of the new format.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pension plan glitch For 2022 there was a glitch in the pension income reporting that put me into a "required minimum distribution" for a defined benefit plan. No way to direct report this to TurboTax, so I just had to wait a month until the problem was fixed.
