Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absurd charges I paid almost 20% of my return just to file. My previous employer contributed less than $100 to an HSA, which meant I had to upgrade to "Deluxe" which removed free state submission. I lived in 2 states last year, so I had to pay for 2 states and deluxe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from they upgrade you without consent, super expensive it upgraded my husbands taxes from deluxe to premier with zero notification and we could not get it switched back. they dont provide a customer service line so you are completely out of luck. we will both be doing cashapp tax next year which is FREE. no more turbo tax, EVER. Turbo is getting way to expensive, almost 200.00 and it took 27 minutes. what a joke

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Last year I will be using Turbo Tax It is difficult, if not impossible, to find a tax program other than Turbo Tax that does not allow you to file Form 7004 - Application for Automatic Extension of Time to File... - what is the issue with Turbo Tax offering this as a free service. Another issue is encountered when filling out the information for Partners - when asked if a partner lives in a state other than the state in which the entity is located, there is no provision to select a foreign location - one of my partners is a US citizen residing in a foreign country - Oously doesn't live in the same state as the entity.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mostly Fine with Some Frustrating Problems The user interface is fine for what it has, but the help menu for the download version gives answers for the online version. The problem with that is that the layout and features are not the same. The online version makes reporting crypto sales relatively easy, not so for the downloaded version. Worse, it's impossible to transfer a current year return from one version to the other so you're stuck with starting from scratch or fighting through the inconvenience if you realize the difference in features too late.
