Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tepid about Turbo Tax My In-laws buy the disk. He died. The user name and password went with hiim. My motrher in law continues to buy the disck. I start the returnand can;t access his old account so i pay for the online version to save time and headache. It's a dorky quirky think that requires multiple phone call to fix, or so i would guess. However, it is impossible (for me) to find the customer service phone number on the webpage. It's 5-stars when I file online. Do I want my $40 back. Sure, do but I have no hope of getting it. I start off hating TT every year. Then when I am almost done (it is so so very easy to use), I love it. Then I get to the end and have to pay (again), and I then hate it even more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good but lags great help to file, BUT it tends to freeze and NOT save. i had to start inputting just a few things at once and saving, so that i wouldnt lose my work. and take pics of what i entered, in case it froze- so that i could reenter. took a lot of extra time. my wifi is great, so unsure of the issue

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Useful online help, good UI, though beware.. Turbo Tax online is a good tool, lots on useful online help and user interface is well designed. I don't like that they default the Turbo Tax product from prior tax year to the current year and don't provide an option to choose different product. I used the 'assisted' product in 2021 which is almost double the price of DIY. I wasn't aware, and am glad that I caught it at time of pay & file, that the Assist product was applied. I was able to change it, but it took a phone call to Intuit customer service. Finding a phone number or other means to contact TurboTax for help with account issues isn't easy. Once I connected with a rep, fortunately she was able to help me quickly.
