Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Frustrating at the very end. I had all information entered: License #s, bank information, etc. and thought I was done. Turbo Tax kept sending me back to fix my tax-exempt pension in the State Taxes but it made no sense. Finally, I deleted the amount of the pension and all went through.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Helplful, but still the same old glitches I like Turbo tax for its convenience in transferring old tax return info, computing depreciation, and explaining some arcane things, like UBIA. But I encounter the same problems each year: the program nicely computes that year's depreciation, and then fails to add it to accumulated dep. on the balance sheet. It fails to prompt me to enter "distributions" and I have to override the form. It utterly fails to reconcile the partnership accounts directly on the state form, using California amounts. The K-1 partner reconciliations are also incorrect. But at least I know what to look for!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Needs Work Every year I complaign that I have to delete the Viriginia Form 502A, in order to pass the Virginia tax return error check. This form should not be part of my return. Every year I have to manually enter the ending capital and assets from the previous year, in order to get Schedules M1 and M2 to balance. Since i use Turbo Tax Business to create my partnership return, and use Turbo Tax Deluxe to create my personal return, I should not have to take this manual step. The information should be autiomatically imported. This year, for the first time, I had to delete a partner in my partnership return. It was a harrowing experience, ultimately requiring 2 hours on the phone with a Turbo Tax specialist in order to make it work within the software, and get rid of the 8 errors spawed. It should not be this difficult to remove a partner from a partnership.
