Always easy to use, though sometimes there are boxes that aren't always easy to understand if you aren't and expert or professional. Might be a way for them to add on even more charges when filing unless you have someone in your life you can call for help.

Easy to use and you can always upgrade / get live support if things get complex. Thank you for creating and refining this platform! If you are in a state that doesn't require state tax filing just make sure you don't add your state at the end, I learned that the hard way last year but this year remembered and saved the filing fee.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Less user-friendly, more complicated I've been using TurboTax Business for several years now and have noticed that each year, additional issues arise from the software that make it harder to use. I will literally do a return for the same business, with almost all of the same information and each year TurboTax throws in additional problems that I have to solve within the software. I will type in all of the information in the 'step by step' screen, and even though I didn't have to do the balance sheet this year, it was at least as difficult to get through because of 'errors' found on the return. The explanation of these 'errors' by the software are absolutely laughable and generally don't explain the issue at all. I'm forced to go to google and start doing research about form x or form y to figure out if I even need to do the forms and what they are for. Almost nothing is explained in detail and they almost always lead to me doing research on google. The whole point of this software is that it should be easy to use and should explain clearly what issues are arising when trying to file my return. "Errors" are created automatically by the software, then I have to go in and fix them to allow the return to go through. What kind of helpful software literally creates problems that I have fix? And this year I didn't even bother trying to contact Intuit because of how awful my experiences have been with them in the past: they are understaffed, not readily available (hours on the phone waiting or waiting hours or days for someone to contact me back) and generally don't have experience dealing with the thousands of different problems the software will create. I can see why they brought the price of the software down from $300 to $200 - it's just not a user friendly software and this is coming from someone to has always done the financials for my business and always done our taxes. I feel like I am more knowledgeable than most small business owners in this area and each year the software helps less and less.
