Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good, works as advertized This is the first year that I have filed taxes myself, and I think it was a good place to start. Every step was easy to understand and follow and I assume that help was always there, though I didn't find that I needed it. The only problem was filing my taxes, which was more of a formality problem on the end of the reciever and not on TurboTax, so I would reccomend just making sure you have everything you need, and this program will take care of the rest.

I could not start the process because the six boxes provided did not associate with me. I am retired. Next, turbo tax even though I logged in, could not find my previous year to transfer information. Had to manually upload from my computer. Finally the process fee of $40.00 for a third party to process the $15.00 charge for e-filing state. Ridiculous. Will never purchase again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great But Still Has Bumps From year to year the product was very helpful, with previous year essential data available. Two challenges came up this year: the image for the screen was larger than the screen itself, so the continue button was not accessible, and the state requirements for 11 digits of a payer did not give me an option if the 1099 form did not have 11 digits.

The process is very easy and the amount of information to answer questions along the way keeps getting better every year. I feel confident using the software year after year! Definitely recommend you try it before paying someone else to do your taxes.
