Also, the purchase process is unclear, full of typos. Even when I called TurboTax the representatives couldn't figure it out. They said, "Umm, ok we'll have to inform our product team." Terrible experience. This software has not been improved much from 10 years ago. Among other things, it's not clear where to enter income from an S Corporation.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
