Rated 3 out of 5 by from standard deduction error I am separated and had to file married filing separately. My husband (ex to be) filed itemized deductions so I had to as well. Turbo tax insisted on giving me the standard deduction (which would have been terrific if allowed - but it's not). I had to enter the correction and many others manually on the form. This should be fixed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A great tax tool -- it's just gotten too expensive I have been filing my families' taxes for many years, due to a very generous grandfather! I have used turbo tax repeatedly, even in the same year for each account. Our accountant did not believe how accurate TT was until I gave him one of my (our) returns -- he could find nothing to improve upon! Nothing. He even then offered me a seasonal job shoud I want one, so impressed was he with TT software. My one problem with TT is the expense! I started with TT to save money because ofthe many returns. Our kids are gone now, so I really complete only one return yearly. If I wanted to spend $150 - $200 a year, I would go to our accountant and get advice, improvements, and relationship. I guess I'm just disappointed, I love TT so much and have recommended it so many times.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Difficult won't let you change the filing type without wiping out all the info you submitted, so you get charged more than you should at filing. on the phone customer service was helpful, however
