Unfortunately the government has made doing taxes so difficult that there needs to be a college course required for every American Citizen. Turbo Tax helps keep it simple without all the stress and anxiety that can come from doing taxes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from yikes! the cost went up! I have always used turbotax because it is fairly user friendly as someone with very little tax knowledge. This may be my last year however because the price has just gotten to be too much. $158 for the most basic return (no extra assistance or audit protection) and that doesn't even include a state return. This is ridiculous.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Prices way increased It cost me no more than $50 to file with turbo tax the last 6 years but this year it costed me $250. The only thing that changed is I’m legally separated. I made a new account this year because I am no longer filing with my ex so I’m not sure why it’s $200 more this year but I could have just gone to H&R Block for the same price. I used turbo because it was always cheaper than going to an accountant. Now I will probably just make an appointment next year and have them prepared by a CPA.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ELECTRONIC FILE NOT WORKING Very frustrating, I confirmed my AGI from previous year multiple times and still got rejected. Being able to file electronically is a big reason to use it. Had to print last year too.
