Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Is Great Turbo Tax does make it much easier to do your taxes. Walking through every step and answering questions is mostly very easy. There are some operational changes over the last few years which is annoying. When you have to do this on your own, people don't like operational change. Keep it simple! One thing that did not occur was that it did not ask me if I wanted to make estimated payments in my state return. I had to find the form and fill in the blanks. It then automatically assumed I also wanted to make estimated federal payments and created those forms as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Job My one complaint is it’s not super clear whether you have actually e-filed or not. There should be a permanent tag someplace on each page that says, “ NOT DONE YET.” But other than that, pretty decent software.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Should have purchased a download I have used Turbo Tax for years! Last year I used an accountant only because we had a unique donation and I wanted to make sure it was right. I went back to Turbo Tax this year. I should have used the download. The online version was cumbersome, difficult to go back to areas if you realized you needed to change. Customer support was not really that great, just sent me to online information about taxes. Price for online was also misleading. Twice as much as if I had purchased a download, at least in the past and my fault for not doing this sooner. Will go back to download next year if available or to the accountants which is only $30 cheaper and would have been faster.
