Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is a never ending ad campaign Every year TurboTax adds more pop-ups and attempts to scam its users into getting the "next best" tax tier. I have used TurboTax for eight years now, but this will probably be my last as hiring an accountant will be cheaper and easier if TurboTax continues to upsell.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 1099 import feature bugs When my 1099-Bs and -MISCs were imported from my financial institution, they included information that prevented me from filing my return as is. In the 1099-Bs, they included sales that took place after the end of the year (12/31/2022) that my financial institution had included in the report. In the 1099-MISCs, they automatically added fields for an additional state that did not exist on my financial institution's report. In each case, Turbotax did not warn me that these errors would prevent me from filing until right before the end, and I ended up having to delete the automatically imported forms and enter the entries by hand, which is confusing for someone not familiar with them and added a lot of time to make tax preparation when I thought I was almost done.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from display print too small Had a lot of difficulity this year. too many work sheets and forms just because income was from another state. also got stuck on review not knowing what to enter for business yet i'm independent contractor. also when filing was charged $25 to file state when I thought state filing was free for first file?? the print was too small had to use reader glasses to see print on screen. VERY BAD
