A minor issue is that entering more than one 1098 for mortgage interest was not a clean as I would have expected. Wouldn't allow interest entry on second 1098 for a situation where refinancing occurred in 2022.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
