Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tax prep went smoothly as always, but e-filing not I've been using TT for years and tax prep this year was still easy with TT's guidance. I wound up in an endless loop when trying to pay the $20 state filing fee, so called for telephone payment. It was a nightmare! Took over an hour and a half. Fee was increased to $25. The agent had tech problems and thankfully stayed the course until successful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stuck with TurboTax for now. I would really prefer if we could go into the actual tax form line by line but TurboTax does not make this easy to do. I find the format confusing. That being said, there are so many helpful explanations throughout the software and I'm so used to using it that I'll stick with it for now. I don't like that they surprise you at the end with a $100+ dollar fee for filing but so be it. By the end of inputting all my deductions etc I'm so tired that I just agree to it. Which is probably exactly how the software designers like it :)
