Rated 2 out of 5 by from I used to love Turbo Tax Due to a number of special situations, it took me about 20 hours to complete my taxes this year. I had to complete a 1040X amendment because I confused a traditional IRA contribution with a 401K IRA. Also, I spent a large amount of time working through the form to calculate a penalty for under estimating taxes due when there was no penalty due. Spending money to file a state tax return electronically is not my idea of a useful tax software program.

It also felt great to be able to get some money back after all of my hard work last year! Thanks Turbo Tax for making the stressful things in life easy!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for taxes, bad for crypto I had a lot of trouble inputting my crypto CSV in manually because the desktop version does not allow that. If they made the desktop version as robust as the online version it would be alot easier. Of they should make a clear statement that it is not covered by the desktop version somewhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than doing taxes myself.... Turbo tax is a great product and it's so much better than doing taxes myself! I think that the product could be improved if they gave examples of where to look on a form for verification or when typing in the numbers is needed, I still get lost with this part (and I'm extremely scared of the IRS). Doing taxes is not fun or peaceful, but with Turbo Tax, the experience is not as terrible.
