The one suggestion that can help and would have made my experience much better. My state of residence is Washington and it does not have have and Employer State ID number which is box 15 when submitting a W-2. This made me constantly go back and review it 10+ times asking me to input this number that doesn't exist. It also wouldn't let me e-file and was about to make me file by mail. Luckily I found a workaround online to delete the wage info from box 16. If this issue could be resolved and not constantly asking to review the state ID number, that would greatly improve my experience.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
