Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo to tax day This year seemed a little easier, but still took longer to do the State tax. However, I believe the state was late telling Turbo tax. Overall it was good!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Now a "former" FAN of TurboTax I paid $82 for Turbotax Premier for use on my iMac, plus $37 for an additional state. But I couldn't enter all my info into this version, especially data about the sale of an inherited house (1099S form). So, I switched to Turbotax online, which worked better--however, I spent an additional $306. I paid for the MAX benefits but chose not to allow a third party access to our secure data, such as our SSNs. Then, Turbotax gave a rude message about "you've paid for it, don't lose it". How about explaining the third party access in advance of the purchase. So, I'd like $69 refunded for the MAX, $82 refunded for the desktop version of Premier, and $37 for the additional state. Gotta look for that Costco receipt! Not my best experience with TurboTax. (BTW, we took our father's estate taxes to HR Block this year.)
