Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax - great tool, needs state tax update Turbo Tax is a great tool, but there are 5 states where there are NO STATE TAXES, such as Florida. It would be very easy to modify the program to ask if your state requires filing instead of continuing to ask if I'm sure I don't want to file state taxes where there are none required.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better Each Year What really makes Turbo Tax standout is your investment tracking and reporting. Just put in the institution and account number and you do the rest!!! That is head and shoulders above EVERYONE else including small tax/accounting firms.

When I entered dividend info, program failed to ask about Foreign Tax - I had to go to forms to enter info. Some questions failed to appear on first go-around. Step-by-step should review EVERYTHING!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mn Property Tax Refund Errors & Not Step-By Step 1) The 2022 version has the same Minnesota Property Tax Refund errors that the 2021 version had. 2) TurboTax is no longer 100% step-by-step. In some areas it now opens a pop-up window with a small tax form inside and it leaves you on your own to fill it out as if you were doing a paper return.
