Disappointed in 2022 Taxes -- TT
The Live Experts did not help me for questions that happened along the way. I was unable to talk to anyone about the issues and concerns I had along the way. There was no where I could enter depletion value on the land I have. TT did NOT make it easy to figure out. Then was alerted that my Taxes were rejected, and once again I was unable to find the answers I needed. I then had to pay the convenience fee 2 times which is not fair on top of Turbo Tax tricking me saying it was free, and spending more on what I owed.

TurboTax Sucks
Used to be free and easy, now it's tedious, overpriced BS. Next.

Hours spent manually circumventing software issues
I spent hours learning the issues of this software. For example having to create spreadsheets and manually manipulating 1099B imports because Turbo Tax does not interpret Consolidated 1099 tax forms with anything related to options. The advice given from help was often uniformed. Example covered call options often have a 0 cost basis if it expires out of the money. TT assumes "expired" options are expired worthless long calls. TT cant handle Negative proceeds imported from vanguard or TDameritrade 1099s in the sense that it needs to move the negative proceed to a positive number in the cost column. I learned from forums that some brokerages still use negative proceeds but the IRS does not accept this. Lots of manual work. W2 imports sound like a good idea but there is not enough clarity between things like the difference and definition of "box 14" vs "box 14a". Miserable painful experience that consumed several days of my time researching how to fool the system into a submission that (might work). All for the low low price of $296. I would like to be paid for my time explaining to TT reps the issues with the software.

If your life lacks stress, then use Turbotax
Product drastically needs abundant user experience work. Clunky to use, poor help service, and HELP is not available on the weekend.

TurboTax
Importing 2 pages of the W2 created an issue that almost prevented my ability to e file. Very unclear to combine the 2 state's info into one W2
