Rated 4 out of 5 by from Force Updates before Taxes Smooth experience until stopped at the end due to updates. It would be helpful to force these updates prior to processing the tax return because otherwise some may think that the only option is to mail their tax return. Luckily, I remembered this issue from before but others may not have that same benefit. Please ensure updates are forced or at least direction is provided at this point for updates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been Using for Many Years Overall good. 2022 and 2021 had trouble with the program finding the previous year on my Mac to bring info in. 2021 was real bad and I had to manually insert info. I think that may have led to problems in 2022 but not as bad. Did have a weird amount come up as my state refund which was incorrect. Upon inspecting it I found that amount as some standard amount but not my refund. Also the 1099-NEC forms were very cumbersome to follow and work with. Only because I know this stuff was I able to go to the forms and fill in the correct blanks and hopefully get it all straight. But on the income section where you put in the 1099-NEC it ended up not putting anything in that column. It did however use a Schedule C and Schedule 1 but no amounts were placed on any of those. I found the amounts on another form but not sure it gets sent in as I think it was a worksheet. Very confusing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Amendment filing I can't tell if my amendment has been e-filed It's very confusing. You ask for today's date. Then you tell me the date has to be last year. I am amending last years return.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy and clear to understand each step. Wow! This was our first year filing taxes using TurboTax and we will continue to do so in the future. They walk you step by step through everything, tell you exactly where to look on your W2 and other forms to make sure everything is correct, and if you were unsure why you needed to add that section there was a help button to explain more.
