Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Experience with California return The only reason we purchased Turbo tax was to be able to e-file our California return. We could not e-file because Turbo tax CA form 593 has too many errors and bugs which couldn't be fixed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use, but sometimes frustrating. I have been using Turbotax for years and I always found it easy to use. However, it is frustrating to answer the same questions over and over again (e.g. foreign bank accounts). I have not found a way to jump to a specific entry fields. I always had to start at the beginning and go thru everything again.

After 10+ years of using Turbotax, I recommend it to everyone and got my Fiancée to start using it about 4 years ago. Easy to use, saves all my previous tax submissions and helpful tips.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax has developed several problems I was unable to use TurboTax to file my state return because much of the information supposedly transferred from my federal return was wildly inaccurate. The amount of taxable interest from U.S. government obligations on my state return was $6,400 more than reported on my federal return. And TurboTax would let me change it. TurboTax also failed to transfer any of the estimated payments that I made for state taxes, even though the amounts were included in the "total estimated taxes" listed on my federal summary. When I tried to get help for these problems, I received generic responses that didn't address the problems.
