Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax helped with a multi-state return TurboTax Deluxe for Mac helped me prepare my Federal and 3 state tax returns. It really made it much easier than trying to fill out the non-resident state forms by myself. I am mostly pleased with TurboTax. I do have one suggested improvement below. TurboTax support agents were not really knowledgeable about how to deal with W-2s for multiple states from the same employer. I tried entering the W-2s in separately, but I kept getting an error. Finally I realized that I could combine 3 separate paper W-2s as one "electronic" W-2 inside of TurboTax. It would have been really helpful if TurboTax could have suggested that as an option instead of throwing cryptic error messages at me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I did it! I was dreading doing taxes for 2022, as I had changed from a w-2 employee to a 1099, self employed individual. Turbo Tax was a useful tool in me being able to do my taxes myself, without hiring a more expensive individual.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New Brokerage Download with Intuit Is Aweful The new process to authenticate to an Intuit account and then download does not permit one to download subsequent tax forms from the same brokerage using a different user name and pw, such as one belonging to your spouse. After extensive and unresolved efforts with TT support we remain deeply disappointed. This was never an issue in past, seems to be common on community threads, and needs proper attention.

They take any guessing out of the equation and always have someone standing by to assist if you have a problem or concern. It's not about how much of a refund or payment it's about the accuracy of the tax filing.

Helped me go through it all and some mistakes I thought were correct she helped me know they were wrong and showed me how to correct them. She was patient and personable. She helped me when Turbo Tax was confusing.
