Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won';t let me edit form 8839 when doing my taxes trying to complete my taxes and when I run the review it tells me I have an error on form 8839 that Prior Year Form 8839 must be entered.. It gives me the box to check but when I check and then run the review again I am getting the same error. It won't let me go into the form itself and edit that box. I have tried to delete my kids and reenter the information but again I am getting the same error.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incorrectly filed New York State tax... Hello, This was my worst experience so far with Turbo Tax. I somehow ended up owing Turbo Tax over $200 to file Federal, NJ, and NY state tax even though I'm a broke graduate student that can barely afford to pay rent. Turbo tax definitely messed up my New York State taxes too and I will be filing a complaint to fix it. Turbo Tax had New York State include taxes from BOTH of my employers even though that should be New Jersey instead of New York. So I ended up paying State taxes on wages that should have only gone to NJ and the three months I worked in NYC should have been the only wages that went to NY State. When I tried to fix it it wouldn't change and so I somehow owed $174 to New York State which is definitely NOT correct. I will be filing a complaint about Turbo Tax's INCORRECT filing and how I somehow had to pay you $200 when I made the same amount of money last year and it was almost the same return and it was free.
