Rated 3 out of 5 by from Change questions so it's more difficult each year! Now I have unfilled in areas of my forms TT won't fill out or let me fill out (SchedC QBI at risk net loss). What the heck? If my form kicks back I will blame TT for everything!! They make it so you MUST use live assistant and pay more.

However, something had changed this year that made it much more difficult to maneuver, and a lack of signposts for where you are in the process. I found I had to retrace my steps endlessly just to find a previous spot. It was not very user friendly, and I grew frustrated. However your two people who helped us out wer excellent. One was Uzma, and she was wonderful, smart and kind. The other was Greg (Glenn?) also very good and patient.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A fight from start to finish I need to review my state tax forms because it asked me a question at the last moment (after all checks had been done) that I did not understand. When I changed a value from zero to blank, TurboTax said I was owed an extra $2,000 state tax rebate. I want to check this before I send anything in. So allow me to print this state tax only BEFORE I file. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. Why ask a question after everything is done, just because I indicate I am going to file electronically. Provide context for the question: what form does it appear on? I'm going to be spending a lot more time to figure this out. This is the rule in TurboTax: ask questions you don't know the answer to when you aren't expecting them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax STILL charged me to file - state return I purchased Turbo Tax. It INCLUDED one free state filing. NO ONE else used the Turbo Tax. When I started the return, it stated "Great! A free state filing is included. Let's get started!" Then when it was time to actually e-file it, I got charged $25. What a rip off!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tubotax Review Home and Business I have always loved Turbotax because of the calculations and the questions to ensure you have everything included. This year, I used Marketplace insurance. Not only did I find the questions lacking, I found calculation errors which Turbotax had to correct. I know this process is not that old, but I believe you could use some improvement in this area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First time - Not bad at all (1) Basically, TurboTax is nicely organized, but I wasn't expecting the direct pull of data. Entering document identities was relatively easy. (2) Printing out worksheets was helpful, since reviewing these helped me to find one data entry error I had made.
