Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like Turbotax, but it isn't perfect yet. I like Turbotax, but did have one thing happen that was not good. I thought the list of duplicate 1099s was accurate, but it was not. I ended up deleting about seven 1099s and had to reenter them. One other thing is that the payment methods are fairly obviously intended for some to accidentally get extra charges such as paying for Max. Also, the extra cost to pay for Turbotax with the refund is also misleading and tacky. But it is generally a good program.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could use a little better intro I had started my return online previously (February) and in late March decided to purchase a CD version of Turbotax while shopping at Costco to save a few bucks. Initial screen on the laptop (CD) version had a selection for "Continue Online..." which was a big mistake. After completing my work the app instructed to enter payment information since I was actually not working from the CD version and did not realize it. A prompt indicating that selection will not sumit the returns via the prepaid CD version would have avoided the problem. I also had an issue entering information from my IRA distributions that turned out to be a significant hassle. Thankfully, after a couple of hours on the phone with two Customer Service Reps all is resolved and taxes are now complete. Thank you David and Nathan!
