Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expensive dumpster fire of an experience It kept kicking me out of the return to try and trick me into giving them permission to use my data for other things and to upsell me. I got down to the end and it won't even give me the forms I need to mail because that system is down. I have used turbotax for over a decade and it has gotten progressively worse. I recommend staying away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is easier than filling out the IRS forms. After over 25 years of using TT I find that the software is easy to install, easy to use, and simplifies tax filing. As a retired computer engineer the things that I most hate to do are computer system administration, tax preparation, and tax filing, so TT does a lot to make my life more tolerable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Major error After multiple "checks and reviews," TT still let me file without my ACA documentation. Had to go back and redo after all three returns were instantly rejected. Dumb error for an expensive service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy File The site walks you through the whole process and makes it pretty easy. It shows you where to look on your W-2 to enter your income. The site walks you through all the deductions and explains what they are and if you may qualify. Overall pretty easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was everything I hoped it to be. I was hesitant to try Turbo Tax because of it being online. But my experience was just great. The software asked me the correct questions every time I was stuck, and it smoothed out my mistakes. I was impressed with Turbo Taxes design, and how it anticipated each section. I did need to use Customer Service. And she was the Best! She helped me through a part I had misunderstood and everything was corrected. I really enjoyed working Turbo Tax and with the assistant.
