Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not live up to expectations This is my 3rd year using the service, it gets more expensive and less responsive each year. Still having trouble transmitting the e-version of my returns, keeps getting rejected due to errors. One would think that using this service for the 3rd time, my information which has not changed would have carried over - it did not. It also would not allow me to print and mail my return. Every time I clicked on the print and mail tab, I received the message that there is an easier way (e-filing), which seems to have an issues with not recognizing my 2021 AGI on line 11. At this price and frustration, I would be better off hiring an accountant. Very disappointed in this years service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from LOYAL Last year I used the Live rep. To me the rep didn't assist with anything additional so this year I wanted to opt out, but I was about to. When I tried Turbotax would error out or keep the live rep. So I did keep to rep for I could file but I feel like the $129 dollars additional to my filing was added unwarranted.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HELP DESK STAFF RUDE AND NOT HELPFUL LIVE CHAT REPRESENTATIVE CALLED AND WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND WAS NOT HELPFUL, SHE WAS EXTREMELY DEMEANING WHEN THEY ARE THE SUPPOSED EXPERTS, THUS THE REASON I CALLED. WILL NOT USE TURBO TAX AGAIN.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mixed results Every year I end up with some buggy issues that "need to be fixed" before I can file. They force you to enter info that isn't real, or you will have to mail in the return. The walk-through up to that point is great, but there's zero hand-holding when they start showing you the fields on the actual tax documents and tell you an answer must be added that doesn't represent my tax situation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality has decreased while price has gone up I've used Turbo Tax ( for both my personal and business filings ) for around 8 years. After this years experience, I am questioning if there is any value to the product. While it was always more expensive there was at least a convenience factor. I've typically spent about $500 per year and getting tired of the constant upcharge ... free one state but $25 to file, 2.5% convenience fee for card payments, auto enroll you in the yearly membership and good luck finding the button to unselect it. As important as the price was the software's constant errors coming up that say "you need to ask for an extension since that form isn't supported (8915 F). When the correct answer is ... a button was clicked incorrectly and our software design didn't anticipate that eventuality so you can't correct it. If intuit were at least able to say how to fix it on your online forums that would at least be a positive for the company. But no...the company post is incorrect, while John.Doe at the bottom has to explain it to everyone. Get it together ... you are a multi-billion company with 1 job. Not a lemonade stand
