Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, but with many ads Turbo Tax is a good way to get your taxes done, however the ads for their products add confusion that could cause someone to pay for something they don't need. The ads definitely add more time to the process - readying the ads and determining if this step is needed or just an option that will pay Turbo Tax for a service. Tax returns are confusing enough without Turbo Tax adding more to the "word problems".

My financial advisor sort of helped me on the phone. I didn't go for live help from you because I am on a budget and I trust you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so great I was expecting the experience I get filing my personal taxes. Instead I was faced with "Fill in this government form" Over and over again. I also could not change an incorrect state entry on my NY state forms. This has forced me to hire a tax person to file my NY taxes. So lost $110 for that AND the software made me get NJ Corp AND S Corp forms, even though I only needed NJ S Corp, for another $55. Using anything but Turbo Tax next year. This software is garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax Made Doing Taxes as Easy as It Could Be This new version made submitting my Federal and State taxes the easiest yet. I did not use any outside support and found the on-screen guidance and explanations very helpful.

My only complaint is why did you get rid of the running refund/due total while working on the return? I like seeing what impact different entries have. Additionally, I use it as an accuracy check - If it changes by more than I expected I know to look at it more closely. Bring it back for the 2023 tax year please!!!
