Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax is mediocre I've used TurboTax for a number of years. It was great when my taxes were straightforward. It's become much more cumbersome as my taxes have become more complex. I still don't have a terribly complicated situation, but the software is clunky. For example, there were several IRS forms with information I knew I needed to adjust. However, I couldn't locate the forms or the information in TurboTax. It's frustrating to know what you need to do but to be unable to do it. I paid extra for access to experts, who were friendly but couldn't resolve my issues very definitively. They're clearly handling multiple conversations at a time and they respond pretty slowly at times. They were persistent with requests to view my screen when that wasn't necessary. And you can't really leave off and come back to the same person. I am not very confident that everything is entered correctly. That's not a good feeling when you've paid to have experts review it. If your taxes are really straightforward, go for it. I think this was my last year with TurboTax.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh Questions are too redundant and too many screens to go through to process a simple piece of information. A one-size-fits-all type of user interface is more tedious in the end. On the other hand, capturing form images by mobile phone is easy and very helpful.
