Rated 3 out of 5 by from Online Support is Hit or Miss I've been using Turbo Tax for years. Every year is the same but this year is worse than previous years in terms of the quality of help you get. I've had Turbo Tax tech support try to give me tax advice when they know nothing. They simply read what's on the screen and tell you the same information. I realized they don't know what they are talking about and pressed them to transfer me to a tax expert. They resist at first but eventually they do. I'm not sure why Turbo Tax would want their tech support giving tax advice and lead their customers to do the wrong thing. That aspect of Turbo Tax is very frustrating and concerning. I don't know what to believe anymore when I contact their support. I don't trust their advice and do what I can to push them to get into details and when I'm not satisfied with the answer I push them to get me expert help. I should not have to do that to get the right guidance. I hope this review will make its way to their management so they can take action.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient and Painless I've used TurboTax for the last 8 years and it takes the pain out of doing taxes. Stores all my information from the previous year and it makes it easy to update quickly. I was able to get through my taxes in 45 minutes with all my documents and checked over it twice.
