Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish QBO Businesses Could Transfer Last Year's For the most part, Turbo Tax for S-Corp is great; however, I do wish that you would make it that I don't have to purchase a QB desktop version to be able to transfer last year's info. Having to input it manually is a pain and can create errors on my part. When will you get QBO customers aligned with your desktop folks?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably the best choice. I've used TurboTax and its predecessor MacInTax for most of 45 years, occasionally veering into H&R Block, also excellent, but not quite as good. TT has some outstanding tax experts and code monkeys. There's always something kludgey about TT, but it keeps getting better and smoother. I chose my topics rather than go through the detailed questionnaire. This year, the automatic import features from last year's return, payroll information, and 1099-DIVs worked well. However, my capital gains info did not import at all. On a review, I was required to explain a number TurboTax inserted into an obscure line in a form. But ensuing searches by topic and form worked well. And all numbers flowed through well. After submitting my forms, I was required to provide a number that didn't exist and should have been picked up in review. Overall, there's always something, but TT is an excellent product and an excellent value.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fees This will be the last year I use TurboTax for my taxes. I'll go back to TaxAct. $145 to file and $39 just to use my refund to pay?!? TaxAct doesn't charge extra to use the return. Y'all are ridiculous. Get over yourselves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is awesome! I have been using TurboTax for years. I love that I can do it in the comfort of my own home and if I run into any problems they will help. I’ve had some really good luck that I have not needed their help but to know that it is there really is a comfort knowing. Simple and easy to use!!!

Also for some reason, the state tax return automatically calls our residence an apartment and won't allow us to file without entering an apartment number... for our house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple step by step I've tried other filing options that were confusing but free. Turbo tax led me through step by step even with more complex itemizing that needed to be done. It was worth the money and cheaper than a CPA.
