Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pain in the rear 3 years in a row I have not been able to use my prior year tax return to start this year's return. The process asks for passwords without adequate guidance regarding which password is being requested. I write down all of my passwords so I had everything that should have been needed. Either require less passwords or provide detailed help as to which one is being requested when it is being requested. Your name for each of the multiple passwords being requested was not sufficient for me 3 years in a row. Also, $25 is too much to ask for e-filing the state return. I spent 52 cents on a stamp.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Frustrating, Expensive, and Not Helpful Was confused about filing state taxes since I lived in two states this year. Started the process. Prior to filing, I did some more research and determined I did not need to move forward with the state I was paying taxes to. Went to try and cancel that state return since I hadn't filed yet. There is no way out once you order the state tax return product. And when I asked for a refund and not to file the state return, the customer support could not help me. The refund was not accepted either. I'll file with someone else next year. They probably would have helped me if I upgraded from premium to whatever is their ridiculously expensive product. I am low middle class and didn't think that I needed to pay $300 for a tax expert to do my taxes, but according to Turbo Tax, that was the case. Just looking at other products, it looks like there are much more affordable and better options.
