Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product is great, price is stupid Yeah its great and easy. They walk you thru everything. But the price goes up every year. Im doing my own taxes from home. Why does it cost $99 when Im doing all the work from my electronic device which i pay for, using internet I pay for. They also now charge almost $40 just to pay your taxes with the return money. Thats ridiculous!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but needs help I've used TurboTax for years, but each year I struggle as a self-employed person. I get 1099-NECs, but your software doesn't clearly identify the documents as already been entered/applied to a home-business - and I end up creating extra business entries (with included expenses, etc.) which I have to keep removing and then starting again as the software doesn't just ask for all the business info first, then the documents and ask "to which business should we apply this reported income?" - that would be super helpful! Otherwise - descriptions of acronyms would be a huge help also. And in calculating depreciation for donated cars - the process should be improved. Basically, improving every year - hope it can handle complex setups just as well!
