Rated 1 out of 5 by annoyed in SM from Yet again Turbo Tax mucks up I have pension income from the UK, so need to fill out some 4852s. Every year TT refuses to accept that foreign organizations like the UK Pension Service do NOT have a federal ID number, so do not allow me to continue. I paid $25 to e-File my state return, did all the ID stuff required, and the the program refuses to e-File with the blank space on the form.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
