Rated 4 out of 5 by from Has difficulty saving the completed return! For several years, I have gotten all the way to the filing stage of the return and then a message pops up that I do not have permissions to save the return. Pretty frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helpful with new deductions Not going to lie - I love Turbo Tax. Very user friendly - used it alot over the years. In 2021 we sold a primary house and then sold a share in an investment. Thought we'd need help filing taxes so used an accountant for the first time in years. Hundreds of dollars later and after seeing some glaring math mistakes that resulted in a $20K reduction in what the accountant THOUGHT we should pay - we decided not to use them again. Went back to good old reliable Turbo Tax that we had previously used for years - even with some additional out of the ordinary taxable events in 2022. Extremely helpful with calculating new deductions on a new vacation rental and business we started. Best advice, user friendly and cost effective. What more could you want?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TurboTax needs clearer questions Stop signing me out without prior notice. When doing a review, I see that the data I had already entered has been deleted, and I must fill it in again. It’s like doing my taxes all over again, & discourages me from a needed review. Write your program for New York State, & perhaps other states, to accommodate people who own co-op apartments, not single houses, & who don’t have individual mortgages & IRS statements related to mortgages. See the ”Your Home” entry box below as an example of what I’m saying. I own shares in a housing cooperative ( a ”co-op”) like many New Yorkers. No deed, no individual mortgage — the housing Corporation has the Mortgage for the entire residential complex. Talk to a good NYC real estate lawyer & improve your program for next year.

Whoever thought of doing this was brilliant. The specialists I connected with were very professional and knowledgeable.
