Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbotax has gotten lazy. Turbotax has gone from being my preferred experience for filing my taxes to being a tiered-pay to complete program. Essentially if you're not filing W2s and have any special qualifications or assets to report, the price goes up and up. On top of this, the features were glitchy and lagged out. Some of the information did not update and I had to restart my whole browser just to log in and re-enter the info. Unless they improve next year, I'd keep other filing options open.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Step by Step works well Step by Step works well, but it would be better if the steps would reference what tax sheets and worksheets where being modified so it would be easier to verify the actual tax documents as Turbo tax enters them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo tax returns I like using turbo tax. Fairly simple even though you might not get all the sneaky loopholes- otherwise known as TAX LAWS that a CPA might find for you. My one complaint is the basic version which used to be free now costs $59 and if you try using the basic version as compared to the deluxe version--$129 to see if there is any difference your stuck with the deluxe version. At least I couldn't figure out how to go back to the basic version.
