Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax makes sense of IRS nonsense. The tax code has become nearly incomprehensible if you have to file anything other than the most basic forms. I've been using TurboTax for decades to handle personal taxes, including various investments, real estate, etc. We've never been audited and never had to hire outside accounting or legal assistance to complete our taxes. Our tax form this year was 93 pages long. Could I have done it without TurboTax? Nope.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Include all fees upfront Being someone who makes a certain paygrade and hoping to receive as much of her income tax, I've trusted TurboTax; so to have to pay the deluxe and then have to pay the processing fee that I was not aware of after already choosing to have to efile felt wrong. All notifications about what we should pay should be upfront.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tool! Some features should not cost extra. This was a great tool to help me do my own taxes! As a teacher, I would have liked to see what expenses I can write off (e.g. classroom supplies and books I bought myself) but I had to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe to even use this feature. If I'm eligible to get some money back on things that I've paid for out of pocket for my job, I should be able to get it without having to pay a fee.
