Rated 2 out of 5 by NJ filer from Did not deal with K-1 and K-3s well I had a k-1 to keep track of and a k-3 is forthcoming but there was no way to check Box 16 to address the k-3 inputs, even though they are still to come. I'm crossing my fingers that I am not going to be in trouble for this, but this is supposed to be software that walks one through filing taxes - I can't say I'd use it again if I'm filing with this much uncertainty.

Doing taxes is already stressful enough. Now TurboTax wants to play mind games as well? I went to download my previous year's tax returns and had to answer multiple questions before it would let me. Why does TurboTax need to know why I want my 2021 tax return? Just give me my information. If the software can't let me do my taxes without playing 20 questions or attempt to sell me stuff every other screen, I'll take a look at other methods

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
