Rated 1 out of 5 by from Confusing Charges? What a hassle. I have a W2 and wanted to file for free. Because of my health insurance supposedly I owed $96? So then because of this I couldn’t file for free and paid over $100 to file. I don’t even know if the money for health insurance is true. I never had this problem. First they tell you filing is $59, but then also charges to file your state taxes separately at the very end after everything is filled out. In the end, you pay over $100. Definitely felt that filing prices was a fish hook to get you to file with TurboTax. Disappointing and very stressful experience .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from rip off it is pretty good. When I purchase turbo tax with state file, since fed is file electronically, why is state efile not included. $25 is a rip off at that point and lousy disclosure. Get straight with your customers.
