Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use and very informative I've being using TurboTax for the past 11 years because of its intuitive approach on tax filing process. The help information could be more useful but I guess they want to grab more money from you to use their live tax advisors so this year, the tax information has become very minimum. It is a shame for such change to be honest. Other than that, I'm happy to use Turbo Tax for filing my taxes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent, but with a few holes in the process The software itself is excellent, but it doesn't explain properly or easily whether you need to or how to report interest when you have a foreign bank account. This is different from the FBAR. Also, there is a broken process for when your spouse lives abroad for immigration reasons, forcing me to file as single instead of married filing separately. For example, it shows the need to input a social security number when someone who is a Mexican Citizen and lives in Mexico wouldn't have a social security number. Finally, I was discouraged after my initial call to the center for assistance. I received help from someone who was basically guessing, staining my perception of the process. That was fixed later in the day when someone who was an expert (after I escalated the process) took the time to ensure everything I entered was correct. That was greatly appreciated and renewed my confidence in what TurboTax offers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is very helpful I have been using Turbo Tax for almost 20 years. Generally, using this tool is great and I really like the feature that it brings in past return data when appropriate. The only suggestion I have is that sometimes Turbo tax asks that something be checked, with no explanation of how they changed the numbers. Ex. "Check Dividends"; but they don't say what they added in or took out (e.g. tax exempt dividends) from the totals that I previously submitted. Or, asking for total value of IRA's - does that include inherited IRA's or just IRA's that require an RMD each year?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from fields not showing up on fix tax return The online explanation is not reflected in the actual turbotax cd form. I had to reattempt to correct the employer EIN 5 times. Still not sure if it is fixed or not. Won't know till I get conformation from the fed and state.
