Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Crazy Every year Turbo Tax it is more expensive and harder to use. I have a very simple return but each year the questions are made more complex and harder to understand. Next year I am going back to manually filling out a paper return and mailing it in. It will save me a lot of time and frustration.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from design worse than last yr Worse this year. Asking me to repeat info from last year and you have it. Asking me to verify income on gov form that you imported multiple times. Not showing a number upfront to know quick if researching all my deductions will surpass it. Not even guiding me to deductions to begin with. If I say an explanation is poor, then it refers me to the community. Just a worser design!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scheduled Fed Payment?? I submitted my taxes which were accepted. I owed Fed and scheduled the debit payment for April 10th. Apparently Turbo Tax does not confirm that the debit was successful and the coversheet of my printed form only suggests where I send a check - nothing about the debit that I scheduled. This is infuriating. I have no way of knowing if TT processed the debit. My only recourse is to watch my bank balance, but according to TT FAQ, the Fed could take "1-3 weeks to process" my payment. That would be way too late to find out if TT actually did what they said they would do. I have been using TT for over 25 years, but I am getting tired of finding errors and bugs in the applications for the past 4 years.
