Actually entering the data and running through the dialogue and checking the boxes was about the same -- excellent. Checking out and e-filing...what a headache! When your package says "One free state" that should NOT mean $25 to e-file the state. It took a lot of hunting to find where the charges were that I was needing my credit card for! And, the number of times to re-enter bank account and routing numbers! I appreciate security of my bank account, but that was a little much.

After over a decade of using TT I had become faily proficient but now I had to relearn how to do some thing I allready know how to do. Its annoying when the geeks keep thinking that what is intuitive to them will be for every body else. Problem: WHen I tried ti complete the CHECK RETURN I was told that I needed to enter a PAYEE FEDERAL ID # FOR SSAN. There was no such number on the form 1099 and when I tried to continue it would always loop back to th error message and ask for a ID #. I had to call SSA and after some research, for a question she said she had never encountered in 10 years, she found out that SSA had no requirement for such a number. My sucsessful work around was to enter the ID number for my other federal retirement plan. Your program did not object and I was able to continue and file my taxes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT RELIEF!! Thanks for this program. I saved money doing this myself instead of spending almost hundreds of dollars to my accountant. I was nervous to do it mysefl but this program made it much more easier for me.
