Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just keep using it Another easy process to get my taxes filed. I used Premier DIY this year; however, I will use the assistance of the Turbo Tax experts next year since I moved and sold a house in 2023.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Program logic problems There were significant programming errors in the navigation system. Numerous times I'd try to go to a specific part of the data entry during the step by step interview, and the program would freeze with nothing but the header, but no current page info. Several times I called telephone support. They didn't provide specific answers, usually told me to delete the program and reload from my CD. That helped sometimes but not always. For as long as TT has been in business and with as many users as they have, these kinks should have been ironed out. Had similar problems last year also. Another issue -- the paper copy says I need to attach W-2's and 1099-R's showing tax withheld, but apparently don't need to attach or otherwise send these in if I e-filed. Program should tell me so, not make me hunt through help pages to confirm.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from does not handle itemization analysis well cancelling the itemization analysis and returning to the standard deduction left stray errors that no longer applied and took several attempts to get the process to move forward.

MY Fed return files normally but NY State fails to process correctly. Yes, NY requires me to e-file. See the problem Intuit?
